This charming house is situated in the serene village of Manzanillo which is at the end of the road leading to the Gandoca Manzanillo Preserve. The house is directly across from the gentle family friendly beach (no riptides) at Manzanillo. There is a coral reef right off the beach one can swim to for snorkeling. It is situated right next to a dive shop and two doors from the market. Restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. Manzanillo is a quick 10-minute drive into the surfing town of Puerto Viejo.
The house has a large front porch covered with a Cana roof that includes several lounging chairs and a table that seats 6-8 people. There is an outdoor shower on the side of the porch. The downstairs was designed with several beautiful wooden doors that fold back so that the downstairs is almost completely open to the outside ocean breezes. When closed the doors offer great security for the house.
On the first floor there is a well equipped galley kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and a hot and cold water cooler. The kitchen has a counter bar with stools. The living room has a TV. connected to DirecTV and has all the premium channels. It also has a DVD player. There is a middle room with a double day bed and bar. The back bedroom offers more privacy and includes a double bed and closet. This bedroom has several doors that open it up to the large lovely back garden. The elegantly tiled bath includes a shower stall with hot water, sink and commode. There is also a laundry room with a full size washer& dryer.
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a double bed with unique screened in lattice walls for natural air conditioning, light and a sense of being part of the greenery. There is also a loft with a double bed overlooking the living area. House could accommodate up to 8 people. There is a caretaker and daily maid service.
Activities: Swimming, Snorkeling, Diving, Sunbathing or Walking the long uncrowded beach, diving and boat rentals, boat trip to Panama, Hiking with or without a nature guide in the preserve, nearby bicycle rentals, massage, yoga classes, many fine restaurants.
