Located on a six mile stretch of pristine beach, Yellow Coco Lodge is a true paradise, a combination of beach and jungle, located on the southern Pacific Coast of the Osa Peninsula, one of the most incredibly biologically diverse areas in the world. Waken to scarlet macaws, and watch the monkeys swing and travel high in the trees overhead.
Or, relax, swing in a hammock under the huge, beach almond trees while watching and listening to the pounding waves. There is great hiking of primary and secondary rainforests, zip-lining, ocean kayaking, surfing, horseback riding, World-class sport fishing, waterfall rappelling, bird-watching, and even private boat trips to the Orchid Sanctuary or the Animal Refuge.
Our main Beach House is directly on the beach, sleeps up to 9 and has 3 full baths. We also have available two large bungalows that each sleep up to four comfortably, each with private bath as well as equipped kitchenettes - each of these structures is approximately two years old, and you can rent either the Beach House, or one or two bungalows, or any combination thereof. For info on the bungalows, you can email your inquiries, as they are priced separately from the Beach House.
The main house has a minimum rental time of three nights. We often have family groups of 12 - 16 who rent the entire property. We have a full-time staff who will cater to your needs, be it tours, massages, dining in or out, yoga classes, or whatever you are in the mood for.
Housekeeping is provided daily; there are 2 kayaks on the property for guest use (one double, one single) - you might want to bring your own snorkel gear. All tours can be arranged upon your arrival, so no need to worry ahead of time.
We now serve a lovely continental breakfast for an extra charge (avail. only when there are 4 or more): or, you can prepare your own meals (we will even grocery shop for you for a $20 per trip charge), or you can dine at neighboring lodges, restaurants and bars: some guests like for us to arrange some catered-in dinners - others want us to arrange for their own personal chef - we will arrange everything for you.
There is a terrific Spaghetti Night every Friday night on the beach (buffet-style) with a live band and dancing: every Tuesday night there is a fabulous barbeque, set up right on the beach and lit entirely by Tiki torches - very romantic!
Personal laundry can be done for you for $10/load (wash, dry, fold)- rental cars are available, but typically, few people feel the need to rent a vehicle as taxis are cheap, and getting around is easy. You do not ne
