Cabinas la Tranquilidad is on the island of Palo Seco, Parrita, located between Jaco and Quepos/Manuel Antonio 2 1/2 hours from San Jose. The front of the property is on the Pacific Ocean; the back is on the wide estuary which rises and falls with the ocean tides.
Accommodations include 3 cabinas and a house. Daily rates quoted are for 2 persons in an individual cabina. Add $10 per night for each additional person in same cabina or the house. Variation in rates depends on the season. Weekly rates are also available. Cabinas can be combined for a total capacity of 14, as 1 cabina sleeps 2, and the second and third cabinas each sleep 6. Combining the 3 cabinas with the house gives a total accommodation for 20. The house which sleeps 6 can also be rented at daily or weekly rates. Visit our website for details.
Area activities include canopy tours in the rain forest, mangrove tours in the estuary, four wheeler tours or horseback riding in the mountains, sport fishing in the ocean or the estuary, and paramotoring or surfing right on the island. The wide volcanic black sand beach is great for walking, shelling, swimming, biking, surfing, fishing, or sunbathing. Two swimming pools are centered on the hotel property. Billiards and foosball await in the recreational rancho. Sunrises and sunsets on this south-facing beach are incredible.
